Bright autumn foliage
Autumn in Japan is another great season to observe quintessential Japanese scenery. Trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow from as early as mid-September on the northern island of Hokkaido. In other parts of Japan, such as Tokyo and Kyoto, the foliage usually changes color around mid-October to early December.
Kyoto is particularly famous for its incredible autumn scenes, with stunning foliage visible at many of the ancient capital’s famous temples, landscape gardens and nature spots. The combination of the mild autumn weather and beautiful foliage makes this one of the most popular seasons for Japanese Wedding Experiences at one of the many picturesque temples in this gorgeous old city.
Another favorite spot for autumn weddings is the Lake Kawaguchi area at the base of Mount Fuji. The classic views of red maple trees set against the world’s most iconic volcano create the perfect background for a Full Wedding Ceremony or Photo Wedding Experience.
