Springtime cherry blossoms,
azaleas and hydrangeas
Springtime in Japan starts with a flourishing of the country’s most famous flowers – the iconic ‘Sakura’ cherry blossoms. From the southern islands of Okinawa to the tip of Hokkaido, these beautiful blooms slowly work their way up the country from March to May. However, the spring magic doesn’t end there. Bright pink, red and white azaleas bloom soon after, bringing an explosion of color to parks and hillsides around Japan. Then, vivid blue and pink hydrangeas carpet the grounds of temple gardens in a grand finale of springtide cheer.
There are plenty of ways to work these seasonal flowers into your wedding celebration, whether it’s a Photo Wedding Experience against a seemingly endless backdrop of cherry blossoms or a Japanese Wedding Experience in an ancient temple surrounded by hydrangeas.
The climate during this season is mild and temperate, with plenty of comfortable days requiring only thin layers of clothing. It’s an ideal time to host friends and family at a Full Wedding Ceremony party or gathering.
